Do you think Internet has affected students’ minds??

     The invention of internet is undoubtedly one of humankind’s greatest inventions. It is a way of communication among people of one country with another countries and nations. It is also a new way for people to learn and expand one’s range of interest. Personally, I do not agree with the above statement. In my opinion, internet did not affect students’ minds because of two reasons.

       The first reason to support my opinion is that, internet can help students in their studies. Students can use internet to search for additional information about certain subjects, for example; History, Science and Law. This is because some subjects require students to gather any source of information that is connected with the topic they are learning. Internet is a very helpful source of information for students. Besides that students can also learn a lot of new things in the internet such as skills, do-it-yourself and methods. This will help students to become more knowledgeable than others. Thus, it proves that, internet did not affect students’ mind but it can help them in their studies.

        The second reason to support my opinion is that, internet can also help students to communicate with other people. For students who are studying oversea, internet helps them to communicate with their family members and friends. It also makes them feel connected with their countries. Besides that students can also use internet to communicate with their teachers and lectures. They can ask for any help or explanation about certain topics through internet by using world- wide social websites such as Facebook, Twitter or Blog. Some teachers or lectures use internet to provide information about their subjects or topics through internet for the convenience of their students. Thus, internet helps students in the matter of communication.

       In conclusion, I firmly believe that internet did not affect students’ mind because it can help students in their studies and it also help them to communicate with other people. Otherwise, if internet were not invented, people, especially students, will find themselves in difficulties to do everything.
